By Hitched Up Trailers ·
Moving a vehicle starts with matching the trailer to the car and the truck doing the towing. Hitched Up Trailers offers car hauler rentals from our Valley, Nebraska, location, serving customers in Omaha, Fremont and surrounding communities.
Our rental lineup includes an 83-inch by 20-foot 14K car hauler with a winch. Check the listing for current specifications, pricing and date availability before planning your trip.
Confirm the Fit Before You Reserve
Have the vehicle's actual weight, width, wheelbase and ground clearance ready. Include any cargo or modifications that affect its weight or dimensions. A vehicle that fits on the deck still needs to be within the trailer's available payload and your tow vehicle's limits.
The 14K designation refers to the trailer's gross vehicle weight rating, which includes the trailer itself and its load. It does not mean you can load a 14,000-pound vehicle onto it. Ask about the specific trailer's empty weight and payload when comparing your options.
Does the Vehicle Run and Roll?
Tell us whether the vehicle starts, steers, rolls and brakes. If it is disabled, describe its condition before booking so we can discuss whether the rental and loading setup are suitable. Confirm winch operation, loading requirements and any accessories you need; a winch does not replace proper transport securement.
Low-clearance vehicles need particular attention to ramp angle and clearance during loading. Ask questions before pickup rather than discovering a mismatch when you reach the vehicle.
Plan for Pickup, Loading and Return
- Check your truck's towing ratings and hitch compatibility.
- Confirm which securement equipment is provided and what you must supply.
- Allow time for pickup, loading, travel and return within your rental period.
- Review the rental agreement and pickup instructions before leaving the lot.
